Peter B. Schock, MD
Peter Schock was born and raised in Yakima, WA. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and earned his M.D. at the University of Washington, School of Medicine. His residency was in Family Practice at The Doctors Hospital in Seattle. After residency graduation in 1977, he opened the doors of Bellevue Family Medicine with fellow residency graduate, Dr. Stephen Dault.
As senior partner at BFMA, he is the only remaining of the four original physicians. He has practiced the full range of family practice for 39 years, doing obstetrics for the first 20 years. His practice now emphasizes office surgery, geriatrics, and complicated patient care.
Dr. Schocks’ family and faith remain the center of his life. He and his wife, Paulene, have three children together and he has two older daughters as well. At this point they have nine wonderful grandchildren who are growing up too quickly! Peter stays in shape by playing racquetball, handling home projects and chasing grandkids.
