Leslie Smith, A.R.N.P., M.S.N.
Leslie Smith was raised across the Puget Sound in Bremerton, Washington. She moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and received her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. After working in research for a number of years at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, she decided that although she loved research, her true desire was in prevention health and caring for people during their time of need. She then attended Seattle University and obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing. She became as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in 2010, and started her career at Bellevue Family Medicine in March 2011.
Leslie strives to approach patient care as a partnership, encouraging patients to be a significant partner and advocate for their own health by educating them about healthy choices and preventive care. Her favorite aspect of family practice is the opportunity to care for and get to know entire families, and promote healthy lifestyles over generations.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, paddle boarding, reading, volunteering, and continuing to learn!
